About Dr. Roy

Local, national and international public lecturer Dr. Carl Roy completed his undergraduate studies at Virginia Tech. He received his doctorate degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine.

He earned a certificate in orthodontics from West Virginia University School of Dentistry. He is a member of Pi Kappa Pi and has been in practice for 26 years.

He has served as a faculty member at the National Children’s Medical Center. He is a member of the Virginia Beach Dental Study Club. He is on the executive committee for the Tidewater Dental Association. He is an active member in the Tidewater Implant Restorative Study Group and the Interdisiplinary Study Group of Hampton Roads. He is also a member of The Advanced Orthognathic Surgery Foundation. He currently serves as chairman of the Roth Williams International Society of Orthodontics. He holds diplomate status with the American Board of Orthodontics.

In his spare time, Dr. Roy enjoys scuba diving, golf and skiing.
